TECO Energy Commercial Business Window Film Rebates:
How does it work?
1. Eligibility: Tampa Electric Company’s (“TEC”) Commercial Solar Window Film Program offers rebates to any existing commercial/industrial customer within Tampa Electric’s service area, who installs a qualifying solar window film project.
• Solar window film must have a shading coefficient rating of .45 or less
• Windows with East and West orientations are eligible for a rebate
• Windows with less than 50% solar exposure are exempt from rebate
• Windows shall be part of the building envelope
• TEC must pre-approve all measures prior to installation to qualify for any rebate
3. Rebate Amounts:
• Rebate is $1.25 per square foot of window area
• Rebate amount shall not exceed 50% of the total project cost
How do I participate?
To participate, please follow these simple steps: Download and submit the commercial Solar Window Film application , along with all required documentation noted on the application guidelines (a copy of the manufacturer's specification sheets, and a copy of your proposal), to Tampa Electric.
Once your application is received, a Tampa Electric representative will notify you if the project does or does not qualify for a rebate. Tampa Electric may also schedule an on-site pre-verification.After Tampa Electric conducts the pre-verification and approves the rebate, you may begin the work.
Once the work is complete, notify Tampa Electric that you are ready for a post-verification and submit a copy of your paid invoice. A Tampa Electric representative may schedule an on-site post-verification and then process the rebate check after the program guidelines are met. Please allow four weeks for processing.

Duke Energy Florida Commercial Business Window Film Rebates:
Incentives for a Duke Energy Window Film or Solar Screen Upgrade include .75 cents per square foot or up to $55.00 per room for facilities with multiple guest rooms. If window film is recommended during a Business Energy Check, you can take advantage of incentives offered by Duke Energy Florida. To have Florida Film Solutions install qualifying shading coefficient film on your windows facing south, east, and west. You must have a business energy check completed by Duke Energy.

Energy Company Program: Window Film Rebates for Tampa Bay FL Residents
Florida Film Solutions has window film rebate products for Tampa Bay customers that meet or exceed the requirments set forth by the energy companies TECO Electric and Duke Energy. The window films must be intalled on existing clear glass on East, West, home windows
